Alan-G
I can't seem to find a suitable dump valve for the newer 2.5 Ltr WRX that I've just bought. Anyone got any ideas and/or prices. Thanks in advance. Alan. Link to comment
the squiggle
The std one on it is sufficient unless you want the noise that will accompany a Vent to Atmosphere dump valve Link to comment

st3ph3n
There's lots of pros and cons regarding fitting VTA DVs, but I've had mine on for well over a year now without any issues, although I do change my oil halfway between services, if not more. I'm pretty sure from looking at a MY06 that the flange is the same as the other new ages, so any should fit. Perhaps someone can confirm that though. Best advice - don't skimp and buy a cheap one. st3ph3n
I have an HKS SSQV, which I got off ebay from a seller in America. It was brand new and cost me about £165 including postage. Jimser also got one recently for about the same price. They all make different sounds too, so it might be a case of trying to find someone with one and having a listen. Tomorrow at Knockhill would be ideal as there might well be one or two subarus there [] Other good brands - Blitz, TurboXS, Turbosmart, Forge. I wouldn't swap my HKS one for anything. Link to comment
Alan-G
Many thanks for that st3ph3n. You going to Knockhill tomorrow? Me and fab 1 are going... [] Link to comment
