Full Decat??

Right guys and gals. I have the centre cat removed and a SS exhaust.

Considering getting the rest done, but was wondering whats the script with MOT is and emmisons.  Would go for sports cat, if thats just as good.

Whats the difference and also the legaltiy??

the downpipe ( if decatted) will likely cause MOT failure

Sports Cats work very well but are expensive to buy in the first instance

In my opinion, get a Sports cat downpipe. It will cost more but you will be legal and wont have to dick around come MOT time. Strictly speaking if you have a fully decatted exhaust then you are not road legal which in turn can void your motor insurance.

get full decat, ie downpipe, centre section, then when its mot time go to falkland, they will fit a centre section they have made up which has 2 cats, take it across the ind.estate to rjm & sons and pass mot, then back across and get ur decat exhaust fitted again, takes 10mins for them to fit it.  all the power gains and no hassle.
