I currently work offshore as an ROV pilot/tech in the North sea and Norweigan sectors and stay in Inverness, I work 4 weeks on 4 weeks off. Whats the general view on the UK300 spec ones, quite fancying one of them, All opinions welcomed on what the best model is to buy Bar Link to comment

wrxmania
There is the UK300 Bugeye version or the 2005 blobeye model WRX300. Link to comment

craigwrx
Welcome to the club [Y] .. i doubt very much anybody on here will recommend the evo over our loved scoobies ! ..the scooby is a lot more popular, so that must tell u something []As already mentioned, come along to one of the meets, have a look at the cars, someone may even take u out for a spin [] Link to comment
steven_williams
If I am there you are welcome to join me for the trip out. Steve, Bugeye with Front Mounted InterCooler (FMIC) Link to comment
Bar
Thanks for the overwhelming welcome!, Much better then the one i got from MLR, And yeah 360ste Id appreciate that mate, I went in my mates Evo 5 and it was awesome, but the comfort factor of a Scooby and cheapness to maintain over the Evo even my Evo owning mate agreed was better, Love the note of a scoob too! Will prob be January when i buy one, as i will have some pennies saved. But a trip out in one would be awesome so i can decide. Thanks again fellers Link to comment
vicki
Hello and Welcome to SIDC [] Scooby, scooby, scooby [:$] Link to comment
steven_williams
No problem. just to warn you the suspension is quite hard. It sounds like we are leaving the carpark going for a drive then back to the pub near Tesco's for food. See you there m8 Steve Link to comment
st3ph3n
Bar, the evo is a nice car, but nothing sounds as good as a subaru in that price range. The noise will win you over as well as the other things you like. Link to comment
scooby222
hi and welcome, like steve says come along to the meet on wed and you can have a look/run in a few diffrent models and the rest of us anoraks, ahem, 'enthusiasts' will be happy to give you advice on the diffrent models and specs. but beware once you hear and experience a scoob theres no going back [] actually steve from nairn is thinking about selling his mega spec wrx, have a look in the for sale section cheers Dave Link to comment

steve_nairn_sti
Hi aye Bar! How's it going fella? Can't believe you're even CONSIDERING an Evo mate![] Nah, seriously though, will be good if you can come along to the meet. Once you see how friendly everyone is then there'll be no going back! You might even recognise a few faces from your previous employment![] Drop me a PM if you need a lift out to the retail park (Not sure what you're driving at the mo, if anything). I already have a passenger for the run but you'll be in safe hands in Steve's motor. Take some clean underwear though!![] Laters Link to comment
