Details of the lady whose has been videoing many of the events for us over the last few days. She did impress the fact that it would be at least a month before the edited version would be ready. I have no idea what formats she is able to offer, or costs. Probably easier if we all contact her individually

Does anyone know anybody taking photos of the closed road run?

Would like a picture of us going over the mountain & I'm sure I saw a flash going off at the second hairpin, we were in the only P1 with gold alloys

Cheers

Gordon..

Damn you found out my secret. I am in fact in colusion with Dooahhdoo, and we airbrushed out the tow rope face-icon-small-wink.gif.

Was good fun, and shame that I didnt think of setting up a camcorder in the car to relive the whole thing (of course would have to buy the camcorder to start with) face-icon-small-wink.gif

I believe the red wagon (sorry not sure of the handle face-icon-small-sad.gif) had a camcorder setup in the car. Anyone know a way we could get that distributed (if they wish to share that is)?

I have about 35 minutes of footage in all.

There is the druidale trail, one run over an open mountain and then one run over the closed mountain and on to the creg-ny-baa pub.

My camcorder is not a digital one and i have transfered the footage onto a vhs cassette.

If anyone would like a copy, then contact me as per profile and i will run off some copies.

You would have to put up with my brummie ramblings thoughface-icon-small-blush.gifbut you could always turn the sound downface-icon-small-tongue.gif

Once again, a big thanks to all the locals.

Think i might watch the video again with the sound downface-icon-small-shocked.gif

I think Greg's video may contain footage of a very slow green scooby on the Druidale Trail (that'll be us then face-icon-small-blush.gif).

Thank you to Richard and Margaret and the Manx SIDC for all your effort - much appreciated face-icon-small-smile.gif.

Also thanks to John, Paul, Gordon and Charlie for taking us out in their cars face-icon-small-shocked.gifface-icon-small-shocked.gif

We had a great time face-icon-small-happy.gif

You could say that! Anne rang the local Scooby dealer yesterday knowing they had a P1 on the forecourt. Unfortunately (or fortunately) it's been sold, although they did say there is another one coming in soon! face-icon-small-happy.gif We've calculated that I only need to double my overtime to afford it! face-icon-small-shocked.gifface-icon-small-frown.gif

Hi Andy & Anne

No probs with giving Andy a ride, you should be able to return the favour next year in your own P1face-icon-small-happy.gif

Have a look on www.p1woc.co.uk there were some P1's for sale last time I looked at the cars for sale section. Plenty of P1 info there too.
