Good News for import buyers ( Warranty Issues)

I have been told by a reliable source that all Subaru main dealers must honour warranties to import buyers provided the service book is stamped by the person who sold the car to you . Subaru UK are supposed to issue a memo to all main dealers telling them that all import warranties are valid . If you have a main dealer who does not abide by the E. U regulations then they ( Subaru UK ) could be fined a very large amount of money . My advice is get in contact with office of fair trading who will be interested in this problem if you get no joy from the main dealer . If any of you out there are having differculties then contact me and I will try and arrange for the letter I got sent to my main delaer telling them to validate the warranty .
