Don't know if this has been done before because I'm a new member.

My Scooby history goes back 5 years now, first purchase was a 2001 GX Sport bugeye in white, one year later I purchased a mica blue Sport Special, Town & County tarted up a standard bug eye and sold it for the same price, mods were morrete twin head light conversion, clear lenses, set of gold WRX alloys and I fitted high level rear spoiler and stanless system.April 2004 purchased the wagon that I have now, some mods ninja system and bailey dump valve.

Pictures to follow when I get back from my rotation In Africa.

I've just had the 2 Imprezas... Started with a MY99 when I was 20, sold it after 8 months then returned to a MY98 about 6 months later!! I'll put up pics when I get home in a week or so. face-icon-small-happy.gif

I will buy another one when I return from Australia next year. face-icon-small-cool.gif

Buy it over there and bring it back with you.You get a LOT for your money over there!

My history is :

- Sti 5 Type R bought in 1999

- MY2000 wagon bought in 2001

- P1 bought in 2002

Still got the P1 and hoping they might release the P2 face-icon-small-smile.gif

I was thinking about it, but wasnt sure how much shipping/extra charges I would run into would amount to... Suppose that I could ask the garage when I've come back from the Test Drive though. lol face-icon-small-happy.gif

Defo not mate,

I'm as I say a newbie to this forum, I have always checked out this forum prior to joining and for me stuck down in Angola for 28 days at a time it's a good way of getting through the time here speaking about something that I have a genuine interest in.

Best regards

Rob.

Blue MY98 Turbo 2000

Blue MY01 UK300

Blue MY01 WRX

Silver MY93 Jap WRX

Green MY98 UK 2000

Blue MY01 WRX

Came to hate them all within about 2months of ownership, with the exception of the UK300 which was written-off 5weeks out of the showroom face-icon-small-sad.gif

Petrol/insurance/maintenance/mods/events make Scoobs such expensive cars to run and own that once the smile-inducing turbo period wears off and the rattles rear their heads they are (IMO) without doubt the most contentious cars i've owned.

Bring on the M5 face-icon-small-smile.gif

Good to hear everyone's history so far, I think one of the guys hit the nail on the head

They do get under your skin,In my case you are never quite happy with the one you have ,you always want the next one up.

I mostly change my car around the 2 year mark and on my counting that is only a few months away.

I test drove the Kitted up red WRX ppp at Town & County about 3 months ago, loved it but it was way too expensive for the age of it,then I started to look at the new model and really like the look of that also, does anyone on the forum have one?
