IanJ Posted January 27, 2006 Posted January 27, 2006 Fraz, Be careful. Some alloy wheel cleaners attack the lacquer on your wheels. Now that you've cleaned them, make sure you give them a good wax. Is that your car in the avatar? Ian
fraser_allan Posted January 27, 2006 Author Posted January 27, 2006 will do Ian cheers, no its not my car but i wish it was Fraz
ANDYJDMSTI Posted January 27, 2006 Posted January 27, 2006 << Is that your car in the avatar? Ian >> If i had a WRX300 that looked exactly like the 06 WRC motor then i would be pretty chuffed and amazed
st3ph3n Posted January 27, 2006 Posted January 27, 2006 I use Meguiars Hot Wheels usually. Works very well, but it really is strong stuff because you have to make sure to hose it, and the surrounding area (including the driveway) for a good length of time. Costs a fortune mind you.
ANDYJDMSTI Posted January 27, 2006 Posted January 27, 2006 some good old auto glym bug and tar remover and a bucket of hot water and turtle wax shampoo
dougster Posted January 28, 2006 Posted January 28, 2006 P21S gel cleaner is THE best and safest. Do a wee search peeps.
sma01 Posted January 28, 2006 Posted January 28, 2006 agreed with Stephen, the Meguires stuff is pretty good, gives the wheels a cracking finish scott
