RS Grant Posted January 18, 2006 Posted January 18, 2006 Quite expensive for a V3 Type-R.... But its pretty rare, and mileage is low!! Cheers, Grant
the squiggle Posted January 18, 2006 Posted January 18, 2006 Oh yes Very nice find and if it there in a couple of months when she really starts to hanker after one then a wee visit to Fife is in order Right now i think Imy is just at the inkling stage and will soon progress onto full blown "FFS gotta have that NOW" Stunning alloys as well Grant
col666 Posted January 18, 2006 Posted January 18, 2006 That type r's been there for a wee while, I keep going back to the site to see if its gone down in price! fancy going for a look but I know i will just have to have it.........must resist! £11,000 for a near 10 year old classic though, what would you get for it trading it in after 12 months? 4k?
fai17 Posted January 18, 2006 Author Posted January 18, 2006 Here she is Imy Wage rise coming soon...
st3ph3n Posted January 18, 2006 Posted January 18, 2006 Can we expect any Impreza that Imy gets will be given the full Squirrel treatment?
micra_wrc Posted January 18, 2006 Posted January 18, 2006 ooh i likeee mentioned to squirrel and peter that i fancied getting a yellow classic cos i miss the scooby burble..... they obviously jumped to the top of list and said a JDM type R! its a wish car at the mo cos i'm a bit strapped for cash but will keep you all posted. so how bout that pay rise then peter?
the squiggle Posted January 18, 2006 Posted January 18, 2006 Sorry mate but i have promised that if Imy does get a Yellow Type R then it is to remain std The Version 3 Type R is a mighty fine car as std and wont need no tinkering Grant
micra_wrc Posted January 18, 2006 Posted January 18, 2006 yeah, just want one to potter about in perhaps one with a full interior and a soft suspension! Its a bit of a change from driving a 1.3L car that no one bats an eyelid at to driving one of those
the squiggle Posted January 18, 2006 Posted January 18, 2006 Well the only 2 classics that come in Cashmere Yellow are the Sport released in 2000 or the Version 3 Type R and out of they 2 i was never gonna suggest the Sport, calm down Ruby it is just a thread, as a possible car for you I would be jealous as hell if Imy got a Version 3 as i am on a lowly Version 2 Grant
darryll Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 nooooo dont buy it burn it i want to have the only yellow type r in the uk, now where r all the rest of them and wheres my matches.
frank c Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 Darryll, how you finding the Parada's ....thought i saw your car the other day.
micra_wrc Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 << nooooo dont buy it burn it i want to have the only yellow type r in the uk, now where r all the rest of them and wheres my matches. >> even if I do get one, it wont be as nice as yours Darryll your car looks awesome
drb5 Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 Darryll You didn't travel through Balloch a few weeks ago did you? Seen a car extremely similar to your own. I will say it isn't Cashmere Yellow though, but bright yellow. Cashmere Yellow was indeed on the Sports in this country, but it was available on V6 STi's of the same year. Cashmere Yellow is that sort of pastel yellow. Not my choice at all. Although it states it's a V4, it's defo a V6.... (bottom of this page)

The piccys on the website need updated and there are a load more cars in stock that are not shown. I know hes got a mint condition STI5 Type R in just now. Not a mark on it and never been touched by spanners. Well worth a look I would say. He even makes stainless steel systems and has de cat down pipes and loads more stuff for scoobies and evos in the store just now. Tell him I sent you along. I will see if hes willing to do SIDC discount too
dan_jess Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 Could u get a pic of the sti5 and post it up?
colinj Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 Id say thats more AA van yellow!! Not a fan of yellow cars myself
jamie_wood Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 I will try and get over at the weekend and get more piccys of all the cars for you.
drb5 Posted January 20, 2006 Posted January 20, 2006 << << will say it isn't Cashmere Yellow though, but bright yellow. If ever tthere was someone i wanted to point that out, i would have wanted it to be you!
micra_wrc Posted January 20, 2006 Posted January 20, 2006 yeah well...... cashmere yellow is more to my liking than the bright yellow one that Peter found, but hey, I'm not fussy which shade it is..... as long as its a yellow classic (preferably with black wheels) but hey, i'm a girl......... colour comes first when choosing a car
the squiggle Posted January 20, 2006 Posted January 20, 2006 That is indeed correct i knew that the Sport shared the Cashmere colour with a fine import model. Version 6 STI and not the Version 3, sorry i got the model wrong but the concept was there The Version 3 shade is Sunflower Yellow and was the only model to feature that shade Yes i am that anal when you two are out there having a laugh trying to jump on any indiscretions i may make!!!!!!
