billyboy Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 Ok peeps time to vote. There seems to be some of you who dont like the current meeting place for various reasons. So let me know which you prefer and we will go to that one from now on. Billy
Gumball Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 i voted hillington. I hope the secret service dont come round to my mansion and leave me sitting blindfolded in front of an episode of river city at volume LOUD till i confess why i voted the place with the great seating arrangement, closer to most of us and nicer staff
corsa Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 I have voted too and hope the meet polis dont pay me a visit while i am sleeping
dougster Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 Hillington for me as well (and on the 11th to see if we can get more than Ayrshire (honest ) )
dougster Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 As a free man........................... .......might have to steal a scoob for the night as usual!!
chris_c201 Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 Hillington for me too, hoping to make my meet debut soon and this is def closer!
dougster Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 And I just got myself a lift!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You ken where I stay Chris!!! Remember and tell Kirsty and Gordy.
Gumball Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 Hillinshat- good seating nice waitresses massive carpark quiet not 10 days on a camel for most of us to get to makes me feel all warm inside cos im still on the southside lastly........i like it Stepp (the former gay popband) it smells 10 days on a camel to get to foods worse seating is torture staff are pondlife (last time i asked the guy for no salad on my burger and he just didnt get it) says it all the bear that comes out scares me the roads there and back encourage me to do 100 in a 50 IMAGE REMOVED BY MODERATOR
dougster Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 Optimax next to the Guinness tap @ Hilly and some dark deserted roads for goats out the back.
ally-b Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 Hillington suits me better , simply because it is closer , I could walk there - in-fact I might have to do that if I don't get my car back soon Al
meko Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 Well hillington would be better for me as it is 2 sec's down my fav back road Michael
G.T. Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 hillington for me hope you lot dont mind me being from ayrshire, but hillington is closer for me than kilmarnock.
fai17 Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 Hillytown for me.Better parking and of course that wee bit nearer than Stepps.
2559B Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 I voted for Stepps purely on the basis that I don't know where Hillington is !!!! Doesn't make any difference to me anyway ..... as long as the meets are on a Thursday ........... I won't be able to make it !!! Ally.
micra_wrc Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 Hillington for me too, as its closer, food is nicer and service is quicker than Stepps.
ed-209 Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 I voted for stepps as it is 1.7 miles from my house or approx 1min 35 secs if the traffic lights are green. But I really don't care where we meet as long as we do have meets.(but not on a tuesday) Ed
andrew_duff Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 Billy , I also voted for Hillington , closer to Ayr and also bigger and better . If you want to ditch my vote me being an out of towner an all then i wont hold it against you. Andy P.s On all the occasions that i have come to the Glasgow meets I have felt more than welcolme .
