corsa Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 Lets say i didnt need the snow to have a BIG moment today Coming off the Whirlies roundabout in EK today heading up the Kingsway, came off the roundabout planted it and the back end let go BIG time,MASSIVE POWERSLIDE,bit off opposite lock, power down, and it went the other way, then tother, then tother, then tother. It wasnt until the footpath over the carriageway ( approx 200mtrs)that i managed to get it in a straight line again. lets just say that a change in underpants was required as soon as i got home. SOOOOO close to hitting the kerbs on both sides. Just glad it was all kept under control(lying ba$tard!!!)
RS Grant Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 Feck, thats not good.. Glad it didnt let go that extra few cm's otherwise it might have been an awful lot worse. Cheers, Grant

st3ph3n Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 Road Tax is a pain in the backside. Still, when I went to get tax last month the guy behind the counter went "oh, nice car" when I handed him the forms.
wrxmania Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 ARGHHH!!! Minus 8 on the way home tonight around Airdrie!! Luckily been driving like grannie coming home the last two nights as I watch the temperature gauge plummet. Taxed the two cars today - another £335 down the drain then Brian

Gumball Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 mr scoobyuk300 i think you need to count again. its now 2-1 to david as it stands just now. follow the posts again Yes, your not a man till youve been to the other side of control Davie- maybe you should stick to this and leave the big power to us? 2-2
corsa Posted December 29, 2005 Author Posted December 29, 2005 Yes, your not a man till youve been to the other side of control a true saying there Christopher. Too many people think they can handle power and have the balls for it but if they ever get a chance to have a real race/rally then they will find out they have no idea how to drive a car properly. Just because you can do it on the games consule doesnt mean you can do it in real life. belive me i have rolled, sideswiped and been airlifted to a hospital after being cut out my rally car. Will post up some pics of a totally destroyed nova many years ago. Remember.... lets be carefull out there and save it for the race track. OH christopher. POWER TO WEIGHT RATIO MEAN ANYTHING?
Gumball Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 well said young man. i believe thats now 3-2 to you. power to weight means everything to me. i know that although classics are lighter.....they can still be beaten if you have the right power lol
