NightOwl Posted December 28, 2005 Posted December 28, 2005 Found a nice big empty car park here in Glenrothes and had my first 'play' in a 4WD. What a hoot! Didn't realise you could move it sideways like a crab as if all your wheels were at 90 degrees to the car. Bairn loved it as well. Just the wife that sat there asking me how old I was??

G.T. Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 still no snow here in sunniest ayrshire bloody cold though gimme snow ive never played in the snow in a 4wd
johns Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 We've only got about two inches of snow here in Aberdeenshire. It was however very cold overnight, and was still minus 5 at 10am this morning. The main roads are fine, but some of the side roads are very slippery, as the compacted snow has been polished into ice. No problem for the winter tyres though - still can't believe the difference they make. I can even brake and slow down going downhill on ice! John
st3ph3n Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 YAY! Bit of light snow in Bothwell. Just heading off to the pub, so maybe a wee snowball fight on the way home.
andy Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 None in Kincardine. I want snow Have a joke instead. Made me laugh, but probably isn't worth startnig a new thread for it. Donald Rumsfeld is giving the president his daily briefing. He concludes by saying: "Yesterday, 3 Brazilian soldiers were killed." "OH NO!" Bush exclaims. "That's terrible!" His staff sit stunned at this display of emotion, nervously watching as the President sits, head in hands. Finally, Bush looks up and asks, "How many is a brazillion?"
Gumball Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 snow now recorded in Newton Mearns/Clarkston/Busby and no doubt EK. I was going to play a little but a more senior member told me i was better not going and may break something. So i am going to watch TV and chill. glad i listened now i would have gone cuckoo and broke my car and my head in the snow, lol not big and not clever. see how i feel later hhahaahahahaha
