Chris I only asked because i was travelling in early morning traffic and was wondering if this was still the quickest way....sorry it wasn't worded very well.

that's the way i'll go then.....as for the detailed itinery and map....check out the big brain on Cal...lol

I'd go with Cal here. Backroad from Bearsden to Cumbernauld. Jump on the A80 AT OR AFTER THE ROUNDABOUT. Take the M876 to the bridge. Then follow the signs. You're looking at 30 minutes from the Auchenkillins to Knockhill at that time of the morning. It takes me 15-20 to get from it to work and I'm roughly 10 miles before KH.
