Hi folks,

Iv been a member for a while but keep changing my cars so never had the chance to meet any of you except those i may have met at AWD or Crail etc.

Iv had 3 scoobys previously but then moved into other things like Skylines.

I have just bought a 1993 WRX Import and its still limited top end to about 110mph.

Does anyone have what i need to change this??

The clock is also still displaying in Kilometres, only 70,500 though so pretty low i reckon!!!

Is anyone going up to the Dundee Cruise on Saturday Night? Redline magazine etc will all be there

Here is a pic of my car incase anyone has seen me kicking about although i only got it on Sunday after a fairly long drive back from Kent!!

Hello m8, nice car, is it a wrx? seems to be on sti rims.

To derestrict and change to mph all you need is a speedo convertor. It's a little gadget that goes inbetween the gearbox and speedo cable. This alters the rate at which the speedo cable spins so the clocks read in mph. Another bonus is the restrictor now doesn't kick in till 180 mph which your car won't hit, instead of 180kph. they are easy to fit and a lot of the scoob dealers sell them, you also seee them on ebay from time to time.

johnny - i think its a WRX mate but im not too sure. It has Sti Rims, Sti Pedals, and a Bumper no1 has ever seen before!!

however, Extreme Dimensions i believe have my bumper. Its a C-1 style its called but i know it cant be C-West. this is the only place i can find the front bumper i have though

the guy i got it from said it may have been one of the very first sti's ever made. cant clarify as no sti badging though

as for my trip, well kent was a fair treck and im about bankrupt now the amount of fuel i went through!! face-icon-small-sad.gif

Prob a wrx. The sti's had sti badges on the seats aswell, the sti 1 had a plaque on the inner wing telling you the edition no. as they were limited.
