dougster Posted June 14, 2005 Posted June 14, 2005 I'd like to be the first to post a warm welcome back to Teknopete! Pete has been offline for some time due to personal circumstances and a house move. He has been a great friend over the years and has helped me and others with his knowledge of Scoobies. He has always been 100% behind the SIDC and recently ScottishScoobies. Get behind your local RO Dundee and if anyone has problems understanding Pete's posts........ ..............tough!!! Neither do we!!
spooks Posted June 14, 2005 Posted June 14, 2005 indeed, welcome back ya old pirate. Seriously though he has done a lot for not only SIDC but for all Japanese Car owners in Scotland. Good to have ya back Pete. Spooks
wrxmania Posted June 14, 2005 Posted June 14, 2005 Oh yes - welcome Pete - nice to see someone with balance who can still be funny AND know history too Brian
Carl Davey Posted June 14, 2005 Posted June 14, 2005 Before i even bought the car there were two handles i seemed to know automatically. The Dougster and Teknopete. Good to see you old dudes both still mixing it up.
teknopete Posted June 14, 2005 Posted June 14, 2005 Cheers guyz, It`s great to be back Missed the buzz, the banter, an the crack. Actually after the renovation on the house think i`ve seen more than my fair share of cracks Not everyone gets to make their return on-line the same week as there`s a trackday, lovely. Still doin stuff on the house but should be online a lot more often now. If anybod needs help or whatever I`m now based in Forfar but hey its jus up the road from Dundee (11.5 minutes at speed limit) Haven`t completed re-setting up the fibre glassing yet but it`ll come soon, the site WILL be updated soon 2 as i`ve got better software now (jus need to get the other puters set-up). So gizza shout peebs, remember though i`m onpetes personal mail till the other machines r set-up. Hope 2 meet all the new faces soon. L8r folks Pete
RS Grant Posted June 14, 2005 Posted June 14, 2005 Welcome back Peeetay!! I've gone and sold the Wagon mate, however, I'll be back sometime in the future.... I seem to have a habit of missing the Flat-4 Burble?! I'll still be attending the Dundee Meets, as I have invested in a wee Rice Track Car............ Talk to you soon mate, and the boost gauge/pod is available whenever you are ready to have it back. Cheers, Grant

teknopete Posted June 16, 2005 Posted June 16, 2005 Hey Nyloc, word up mo fo ? The scoobymods number (07939 416007) is still good m8ty, u know the rule on mobiles in the work though so i only check it once a day. I`m thinkin jnow that it`d make sense to make the next meet on 26th of this month to coincide with the national day up in Alford. Precise details of meet times / points to follow nearer the time. Lets ave a few more of the new faces present this year though, as well as all the regulars Pete
