Advice required: does my car need a dump valve?

starting to get a few mods carried out to my car, can anyone advise if i should/shouldnt be getting a dump valve fitted?

thats the one i fitted to mine, doesn't give any extra performance, but i like the sound.

there's a thread on here somewhere that says they make the car run lean though

agree with you re: the sound mate, they do sound great, but if its going to make the car run lean then may be better to leave it for now..

lots to choose from, best thing to do is to get about people who have them and have a wee listen

I've got a vid clip that will let you hear what the HKS SSQV will would sounds like from inside my car when i had it on.

i am just using a std one, it works fine, unless you just want the noise!!

i would spend the cash on something else like gauges. ( unless you already have gauges )

you cant know too much about whats going on under the bonnet.

and £100-250 could get you a couple of nice gauges

Defo get an aftermarket dumper, not just cause I'm selling one, but cause they sound suuuuperb!!!

its all relative. buy a cheaper older valve or a newer more expensive one.
