could try AWD depending on where you stay?

I flew up there last year and got a HAYWARD&SCOTT box that was fantastic.

Subaru WR Sport + unresonated centre section = luverly burble face-icon-small-smile.gif

All cats in place too ( for how long though face-icon-small-happy.gif )

From experience you pass a point where you want more noise and the over step the mark.

Louder = better & more grins but :-

- Pisses off neighbours

- You look like a chav in the work car park

- Its SO annoying above 70 mph on m'way

But what they hay ! The louder the better face-icon-small-smile.gif

I've got an H&S downpipe and decat on my RB5 and it sounds amazing. Lovely rumble around town, great in the clyde tunnel and nice and quiet ( not silent) at 70. The best combo I have ever heard. At turbo boost time the note really hardens and goes crazy, I love it

Oh and a prodrive rear box.

<< You could always just change your centre for a magnex resonated one...or go and see C&C and get themn to whack in a centre box. >>

Or even better, whack out a centre box if you still have one face-icon-small-wink.gifface-icon-small-wink.gif

Nah - C&C could quieten it down for you with a silencer which does not restrict the car much.

Surely if your car is in fifth gear @70 mph you will only be doing around 2000rpms, if it is too loud at that rev range it must be some bit of kit, you never bought it off AndyJDMSTI did you?

What kind of exhaust is it?

Im not on Brian's commission structure face-icon-small-wink.gif but c and c will make it up for you to sound exactly how you like. If you want loud at 30 and quieter ( relatively) at 70 they can do that

I love my 3" cat back system, and yes it pi$$es of the neighbours.

Dont talk or play music ( OEM stereo is crap anyway) just listen .... face-icon-small-smile.gif

Not me pedro but I'll be at some meets soon. Thanks for that though. The RB5 was my fave classic (apart from P1 of course) and I love it, need more power now though. I sense and intercooler tilt kit and stainless intercooler splitter coming on soon

had a look when the car was over the pit today,it is a Scorpion cat back system but it has a massive tail pipe been welded on,so at least i can just buy another Scorpion back box.
