Im just back from a local tyre shop, they are quoting £88 per tyre ( as above) and thats including valve , balancing and fitting, sounds like a good deal to me, has anyone sourced a better price?

Jim Dickson quoted me 225/45 zr17 at £80........fitted, balanced and valve

Ronnie at wheels around did them for £76 at KH last year.

Just got 4 T1-S's from www.camskill.co.uk free delivery £360. 225/40/18's. Only used them on 'brisk' road driving but seem a big improvement on P-Zero Nero's, especially in the wet. Several mates have had them and prefer them to the T1-R's which they say are a bit 'floaty' on general fast road work although are 'pointy' and enhance turn in on track.

I just bought 4 T1-S from Ronnie at wheels around. Can't remember the price but it was good.

I actually bought 5 tyres as I ripped the sidewall on one after three days :mad;

They quoted me £82 for Hankook Ventus Sport 104's and £105 for Goodyear Eagle F1's both in 225/40/18.

BTW, Jim Dicksons quoted me £112.50 for 225/40/18 Goodyear Eagles and £117.50 for Toyo's in 225/35/18.

Elite were around £10-£15 per tyre cheaper, but you obviously need to add valves, balancing and fitting to that cost.

P.S. I think the girl must have the price for 4 wrong as they quoted me £550 and £573 for 225/35/18 for Goodyear and Toyo respectively. That's went from <£120 per tyre to over £140 for more of them.
