What polish / prep time!!!!!

Im getting the brief sorted for the Mad One and currently using all the Autoglym gear, but willing to give summin else a go. So I was just wondering what other products are recomended and where to get the bad boys.

Recomend zymol for washing the car first. Gives it a great shine just with washing alone.

Meguiars - you can buy it on Ebay.... great range of products. I use the NXT wax it is superb stuff. Also got some product from Mark Underwood aka the Wax Wizard - MC2 fab for the alloys and shampoo.

Mr NTS and Wrxmania will testify how good his products are.

i agree with stiks - meguiars polish is ace - only recently started using it after years of using MER and Meguiars is much better

Swissol is sposed to be amazing but it aint cheap.

Swissol but Meguairs will also be very good.

Any good wax NOT polish will be good if used regularly.

Use Zymol from Halfrauds...... Never had any complaints, if you follow the reasonably long process it tells you to on the back the car comes up very nicely.

However, willing to give Meguairs a shot when I'm needing a new bottle.

I use turtle wax, and very rarely wash the car as you have probably noticed, doesnt make you any quicker you know and girls are more likely to notice a mocket rocket amongst all the clean and shiney ones, eg;

Sharon- "My look at all those shiney fast subarus! there all so clean and dazzling like a new pin!"

Tracey-"Yes but isnt that so booooooorring, all they do is shine their cars!"

Sharon- "F****N H**L ! did you see that manky white scooby just warp by us?"

Tracey- "No I must have blinked"

Sharon- "The driver was gorgeous, bet he goes like a steam hammer!"

Tracey- " Hes not bothered about cleaning his car, what a rebel!!"

I swissoled mine today. Took me about 4 hours, (I don't have a life). It's expensive stuff but if you are prepared to put in the time and effort it comes up good. I have the clay bar,car bath, cleaner fluid,tyre shine, and samurai wax.

I could contact Mark Underwood aka Wax Wizard to see where he is with his new product.

He is the genius behind the Swissol product and has left them to work on development of another concoction of his own!!!

I have always used his products and tips. The engine cleaner and degreaser is AMAZING!!!

Wax aint to shabby either!!!

Haven't yet used Meguirs but have only ever heard good stuff about it.

However a bi-monthly go over full body wax treatment with Auto-glym does the trick for me (oh - the car likes it as well !!)
