that's ok I've got the Whalen Grear Knob on my Minis.

Doug Whalen is going to machine a couple of gear Knobs for me once he receives my original Subaru knob for dimensions etc.

Actually I.ll post pic when they come over from the states

but until then Prodrive will do nicely.

I've got the black prodrive knob in that picture in my 2005 all thanks to Jamie. It's a much nicer feeling than the regular one.

Except on cold mornings when it feels like it might freeze to my hand.

<< Nice cars Fiona, 275bhp on a mini sounds mental, what level of traction do you get? How does it compare to the scoob, call me a nosey bugger lol.

Gordon >>

well to be truely honest 275 bhp is to much for the car when you floor it you realy have to hang to that steering.

with it being supercharged I feel the speed more instant than the scooby but haven't opened the scooby up yet really

got leda suspension on the mini with the gas bump and rebound etc in fact the exact same set up as the John Cooper Works challenge cars in the States and boy can you whip it round the corners right on the limit hugging just till you feel the back straining to let go.

I have say saw of a Scooby was a bit of payback about 3 weeks previous a scooby overtook me on the road just off the tore roundabout heading towards muir of ord it was a realy agressive move by them resulting in a big huge stone coming up and getting my windscreen on my week old mini cabrio so if you are reading this ta very much had to get a new windscreen.

However a couple of weeks ago was in the blue mini hard top saw them in front of me on the same road and it was me that zapped past you leaving you for dead.face-icon-small-smile.gif

Thanks for that Fiona, i doubted if a mini could handle 275 bhp without it being a white knuckle ride, you should have got that scoobs reg number as he is liable for your windscreen damage, i only found that out today as some bugger done it to me this morning, first day back in the scoob after an ankle injury, my brother is a cop in Falkirk and he informed me who was liable after i paid the excess to Autoglass, never mind, wiser next time.
