scott_coull Posted March 14, 2005 Posted March 14, 2005 Whos all going from Fife/Dundee area? Fancy meeting up and heading through together? Anyone suggest meeting place/time etc? 1. Coulster
beastie Posted March 14, 2005 Posted March 14, 2005 We can meet up in the big lay-bye before the Forth Road Bridge going South. Say around 0830 to give us a chance to say hello. So far arranged as follows: 1) Beastie 2) Rossyboy-kdy 3) Coulster I will be travelling down the M90 from JCT9 so will look for stragglers
higgy Posted March 15, 2005 Posted March 15, 2005 right that sounds good to me 1) Beastie 2) Rossyboy-kdy 3) Coulster 4) Higgy
zeolite Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 Don't know if I can go yet but I want to go. I live in the levenmouth area.
beastie Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 1) Beastie 2) Rossyboy-kdy 3) Coulster 4) Higgy 5) Zeolite (Maybe)
higgy Posted March 17, 2005 Posted March 17, 2005 hi guys should we not go over the Kinkarden bridge I may be wrong take a look at the map Higgy
scott_coull Posted March 17, 2005 Author Posted March 17, 2005 Good question thats why I asked for your suggestions. We can still head along the M8 via Forth Road Bridge but upto you guys. Either suits me. Zeolite - Im from Levenmouth Area aswell, Silver classic C4ULL. Prob passed you and never noticed. Scott
zeolite Posted March 17, 2005 Posted March 17, 2005 I don't think so m8. I usually wave to all Scoobs. Blue classic wagon BTW
roy Posted March 17, 2005 Posted March 17, 2005 count me in; i stay 5 minutes away from forth bridge and i think it would be easier going the m8 cos as far as i know you can see the showcase from the motorway looks like it'll be bigger than the loch lomond run
zeolite Posted March 17, 2005 Posted March 17, 2005 Hey Roy! Haven't seen you since the LLS. how are you doing m8?
beastie Posted March 17, 2005 Posted March 17, 2005 I have checked with a route planner coming from M90 J9 via Kincardine Bridge/Down A9 and across Forth Road Bridge. Via KB = 56miles 1hr 21minutes Via FRB = 62 miles 1hr 12minutes Via A9= 56miles 1hr 21minutes The point of using the Forth Road Bridge as a meeting point was so that if anyone comes down from further North they can easily find us. Its also the fastest route from Fife where the thread topic originally started.
scott_coull Posted March 17, 2005 Author Posted March 17, 2005 Beastie Thats probably the best idea mate. Easier spot to stop so everyone can meet. Agreed with the Forth Bridge route then guys?
Don Mega Posted March 18, 2005 Posted March 18, 2005 Hey guys i just put my name down for this run as well. Higgy.. i met you in glenrothes for the jaunt back in august.. if its cool, do you want to meet at the same place again to go and meet up with the other guys at the forth road bridge or kincardine... which ever way we're going lol. updated list... 1) Beastie 2) Rossyboy-kdy 3) Coulster 4) Higgy 5) Zeolite (Maybe) 6) Don Mega
higgy Posted March 18, 2005 Posted March 18, 2005 hey don mega you got the green wagon if im not mistaken higgy
Don Mega Posted March 18, 2005 Posted March 18, 2005 Close dude... its blue with the gold BK's and feckin loud exhaust lol Don Mega AKA Dennis
scott_coull Posted March 18, 2005 Author Posted March 18, 2005 If you guys are meeting in Glenrothes then do you fancy meeting up with rossyboy and myself in kdy? Im from Levenmouth so I could meet you guys in Glenrothes then head through to Kdy and get rossyboy? Cheers Scott
zeolite Posted March 18, 2005 Posted March 18, 2005 Coulster. It takes time to do all that collecting type of thing. People are late/get lost and it pulls everyone back. Why not have one central collection point say Kirkcaldy outside Halfords and go from there?
scott_coull Posted March 18, 2005 Author Posted March 18, 2005 Im fine with that. Im not too fussed, if need be we could all meet at the bridge save any hassle that way?
roy Posted March 21, 2005 Posted March 21, 2005 If everyone is meeting at kirkcaldy is there still a meeting at the layby at the forth bridge about 8:30 i'll be there at 8:30. zeolite are you on this run. ROY
the squiggle Posted March 21, 2005 Posted March 21, 2005 Meeting point at the Showcase is 10.00 and departing at 11am ......take your time gents. Grant
