Carl Davey Posted March 6, 2005 Posted March 6, 2005 Good eyed deer Scott. All being well i will be over midday-early afternoon.
sKunk Posted March 7, 2005 Posted March 7, 2005 I might be a little cheeky and get 2 RR's done if that's possible. 1- 1st RR session 2 - nip away and get my exhaust replaced 3 - 2nd RR session
ormiboy Posted March 7, 2005 Posted March 7, 2005 I might be a little cheeky and get 2 RR's done if that's possible......... i was wondering if this was likely to be ok, do you simply get one run? or do you get a few shots?? i want to try a run with the boost at 1.1 bar after the run at a standard 0.8bar. so whats the story?
wrxmania Posted March 7, 2005 Posted March 7, 2005 They do 2 runs back to back but it is very oversubscribed already and they struggle to fit in so many cars anyway. They are really running at the maximum they will fit in on one day anyway. I am sure if you wanted to run at 2 different boost settings (as long as you adjust them quickly between runs) they would accomodate that - however, the printout they give you is an aggregate of both runs IIRC so may not be possible... Brian
harvey_smith Posted March 7, 2005 Posted March 7, 2005 I will be there but it could be later on when I arrive as I will be in the Birmingham area until early am.

Brian ta brian. i can adjust the boost at the flick of a switch (with the ignition off! ) but as you said if its graphed across two runs i will just do it at 0.8bar then , 1.1 next time. cheers

sti-zlv Posted March 7, 2005 Posted March 7, 2005 Looking forward to this, nice list spooks Is it just me and Jamie heading from the stirling area? Matt
dad Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 is it just bhp, torque and boost that is shown on the graph , or do they tell you anything else? like fuelling ,inlet temps etc? never been before, so i know nothing
steven_macgregor Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 I'll be heading from the Stirling area ,if you want to tell me where to meet you ? rgds Steve.
Carl Davey Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 If it's the same as the Dastek RR in Aberdeen (as i imagine it will be) it's just power/torque. Scott, it's just a rumour but i don't think Davie (drb5) can make it Sat.
fraser_drinkwater Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 Is this the running order as it would be great as its ma sons birthday and would love to get the biz done early so a can get back to glesga for his party. If not then cool, i might need to be the first piper doon. lol cheers THE SWIGG
spooks Posted March 8, 2005 Author Posted March 8, 2005 OK to answer a few questions Dad its normally just power and torque shown on graph but Gerry was trying to get more info on to the graphs. Carl I'll PM or mail Dave, thanks for the heads up Swiggi this is a provisional list at the mo but it defo shold be roundabout this order so if you have somewhere to be Im sure we can get you out quickly One more thang, had Dastek on the phone toay and this has been moved forward to 8.30 start now Sorry guys but this is gonna be an early rise for everyone. I'll prolly meet ya there as I have things to do...unless I sleep in of course lol Saves me the embarrassment of not being able to start the car at McD's anyways. Spooks
