Marky-San Posted December 18, 2004 Posted December 18, 2004 As some of you will know the beloved scoob sold in a blaze of glory about 4 weeks ago - I now have the replacement. A nice shiny red Accord Type R that I had to collect from Bournemouth and drive all the way home last night. It was a great drive for a variety of reasons - - I was in my new car - I passed PRODRIVE albeit on the motorway, but even from there I could see a variety of Imprezas - I was so chuffed to see the place by pure accident. - In Oxford I stopped and saw a mate who was on last weeks 'House Doctor - Design for Living' - hadnt seen him for 2 years. - I got to buy petrol at 94.9 for Esso SUL - that hurt till I found optimax - I was driving along at 90 when i finally noticed the outside lane was closed due to snow! only 50 miles from my home - thankfully 25 to go and it turned scottish again and was heaving rain. - My TomTomGo was excellent - only one junction map wasnt right, otherwise spot on! - With above was forced to brake heavily on several occasion for NON-existant speed cameras - buggers!! Overall, quite happy now having the car - should be a good one for carting little Marky-San or MarySan if its a wee lassie in March! Question is: will I still be allowed on here with you guys, or do I have to returned to SN again only to have my posts moved

~ ~ Cal ~~ Posted December 18, 2004 Posted December 18, 2004 Nice one Marky This is worth a look :- [ Video of how Vtec works Cal
the squiggle Posted December 18, 2004 Posted December 18, 2004 Good video Cal would be of interest to the STI8 owners as thier car will have a similar system. Difference being the direction of the piston travel and the amount of heat generated Marky-San i reckon if you have owned a Scoob at some point in your life, even a Justy, then you will always be welcome here but since your old one was a peach then you will be more than welcome Grant
