Jamie,

am gonna tackle the KL tomorrow. in your expert opinion do you think that the fuse is blown.

was working good til Happendon, switched car off then when started again ...........nothing!!!!

could leaving the headlights on when starting have caused it to blow???????

Headlamps wont have affected it ,Andy.

I would say that it could just be the fuse, dont know why though.

Its getting the same feed that the defis are and i presume thay are still ok?? So its not the main feed thats down.

I should have lengthened the wire going to the fuse holder at the time, but never thought.

only thing I did notice ws that Dave had it taped up with insulating tape, it might have poped apart and its not getting a contact.

Its easy to remove the stereo facia. Just follow the steps I said.

Open the cup holder and card holder, gently pull the surround at the top, then grip (gently) the surround bellow the stereo and it comes away.

Fuse is located to the left of the gap, just behind the lighter socket
