REQ. SORN help.

I'm thinking of taking the scoob off the road 'officially' at the end of this week.

What should I do, who should I call etc? I have a private 'off road' parking space but how do I prove that it is legally off the road and should I expect a road tax and insurance rebate?

TIA.

Whens the road tax due ?

Mines is OTR at the moment too, my RT was due 31/10/04 and I SORN'd the car via the normal DVLA paperwork way. Go to the post office with the road tax reminder and tick SORN, they give you a slip of paper. A week or so later you get a letter from the DVLA to confirm the said car is OTR and SORN'd.

You do not need to prove anything as long as it isn't on the road IYKWIM

No , you wont need insurance if its on private land but private land wont stop theives trying to nick it.face-icon-small-frown.gif

So definately an "advantage" to keep it insured.face-icon-small-wink.gif
