p3dro Posted June 11, 2004 Posted June 11, 2004 It was cheaper to pay cash on the day than book through the sidc website or am I mad? £65 for a member cash? Is it just a dearer day this time?
jacqui_robb Posted June 13, 2004 Posted June 13, 2004 Another question for ya's re the 24th..........is this the definate date or not? Says date is "subject to change". I know that it's the Macrae Stages on the Saturday, and the Knockhill Rally on the Sunday, is this maybe why K.N. havent confirmed the date? Anyone know? Cheers.
Wooosh Posted June 13, 2004 Posted June 13, 2004 I'm pretty sure its confirmed. I've seen johnS mention it a few times.
johns Posted June 13, 2004 Posted June 13, 2004 Yes, the date has indeed been confirmed The reason it's a few pounds more expensive on the website is to cover the credit card charges the club incurs. If you want to pay cash on the day you can, but please note that your place won't be confirmed, and you may find yourself well down the reserve list and not get the chance to go on track. Booking on-line also makes the admin side for me much simpler, as I just get a list of cas and drivers from the club shop, and don't have to trawl through loads of e-mails looking for people who haev said they will come etc... John
p3dro Posted June 14, 2004 Author Posted June 14, 2004 Ok John cheers I will just book through the shop to make life easier. Pedro
ormiboy Posted June 16, 2004 Posted June 16, 2004 howdy peeps, are spectators welcome? im too paranoid to take the scoob on the track at the mo but soon enough. also ive not actually paid my sidc membership yet due to the cost of a couple of weddings and stag nights ive been invited to in the last month. But the end of july i will join fully ...promise If spectators are welcome how much and what is the drill? cheers all
johns Posted June 16, 2004 Posted June 16, 2004 Yes spectators are more than welcome, and there's no charge either, even if you want to go out as a passenger! bring your own helmet though if you can, as Knockhill will ask for a £10 deposit, of which you'll get £5 back. Cheers John
ormiboy Posted June 16, 2004 Posted June 16, 2004 nice one john, thanks for the helmet tip. think i can rustle one up from somewhere what time does all this kick off at?
