Help needed

I have a 1993 jap import subaru impreza (2.0 wrx sti) someone offered me £8000 for it, it needs about £1500 to get it to mint spec. I did a bit of research and saw how much there worth any advice wether i should sell it or keep it? It’s a sick little car 280bhp standard just a k&n filter and straightthrough 3” scorpion exhaust nothing else things an animal!!
