We allow anyone to create an account at SIDC but this does leave us open to malicious activity from time to time and while we actively monitor this to prevent this from happening it looks like they got through today. It is always a balancing act when determining which features of the site are open to everyone and which should be locked down to prevent misuse. Private messages can be useful but as we have seen today can be abused so steps have been taken to try and stop this happening again. This means Private Messaging is now only avaible to all paid member groups. I apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. Link to comment
