neill54 Posted August 19, 2011 Posted August 19, 2011 Over the past few days my handbrake light has been staying on just wondered if it could be anything other than a dodgy wire as on my old 205 gti it meant that the rear pads needed changed ie a low level indicator! Neil
ciaranrb5 Posted August 19, 2011 Posted August 19, 2011 Could be the switch under the handbrake or could be your fluid level
wrx kenny Posted August 19, 2011 Posted August 19, 2011 Funnily enough my handbrake light came on last week will check fluids this weekend Pads need changed I know thatv Kenny
neill54 Posted August 19, 2011 Author Posted August 19, 2011 Cheers guys going to service it this week end while we have a break in the weather! Neil
scoobysailor Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 I know I'm stating the obvious but check the fluid level in your wee header tank, mine was losing fluid very slowly due to a pin hole in the braided hoses, replaced them and filled up the tank and the light has stayed of since. Quick and easy fix (if you haven't checked this already).
