Flathead
Hi All Just joined the forum as i bought a MYOO turbo last month and was wondering if anyone new much about it ? It seems to like living in Swindon as it allways seems to stay local except for one owner in St Albans but it was traded back in to simpsons so must like it better in Wilts. Its blue and the reg is W747 WAM i found some info on scooby net in 2000 and the owner was registered on there as Iain T but nothing since. Cheers Alan Link to comment

chrisatno11
Hi there I'm brand new to Scooby's as I've just bought my 1st R reg beauty last Sunday ! I'd be very interested in meeting up / chatting as I live in Kempsford .... My 1st question would be around fuel .... 99 ron V 95 ron etc Previous owner suggested basic supermarket juice and although he had the scoob 6 years I'm wondering if the V Power would have any benefit Any clues / ideas ? regards chrisatno11 Link to comment
edmondo
Welcome to SIDC Bud.....................where's Kempsford?......................I aint no expert ( as anyone round ere will tell you lol ) however I usually use V Power or Tesco 99 for mine..............however I believe ( dont quote me ) that UK Models can run on 95 Ron Link to comment

My son who is a mechanic says stay away from supermarket fuel as to keep the price down they leave out some of the additives that protect the engine. the 97 / 98 stuff is rubbish but the 99 that Tesco do is good stuff.............I seem to get better economy etc from that stuff than any other Link to comment
pezza_no1
Yeah there was a comparassion done a while ago about the different fuels and what affect it had on your engine and the 'knock' sensor. The results spoke for themselves and highly recommend running on at a minium super unleaded but preferably either V-Power or Tesco 99. My hawkeye is a STI-Type UK but it still says it should be run on 98 ron fuel... So a trek to Swindon every time I want to fill up! Lol Link to comment
edmondo
you aint got nothing nearer then Pez? Link to comment
