corsa
The guys asking a fair question why cant people on here not just give a fair response instead stupid replies. Mate, why not get yourself a trickle charger, get it up on axle stands to take the dead weight off the suspension, wheels etc, keep the windows open a tad to let the air circulate. Only my thoughts. davie PS, pop out every now and then to give it a polish!!!!!! Link to comment
sczscoob
Hi folks gonna store my scooby in my garage for the wintre any tips on how to keep all parts working for when i bring it out in the spring? I've stored cars a few times for winter & to be honest it's proved more hassle than it's worth. Always something wrong with it when you get it back on the road, but if you really wanted to trickle charge is good & if you don't have axle stands put a little extra pressure in your tyres. Also open the boot a tad to stop it going smelly if it get damp. You know those really blue sky calm winter days when its bone dry outside? Take it for a good run then just to remind you of the fun to be had in the summer. Just make sure it well locked up buddy & i know where you are coming from with regards to keeping it clean, top bloke Link to comment

sparky_sj04
Just what's been said already mate, and it's obviously had a good spray etc. to get all the salt and road grime off it? Depending on how long you are storing it I would think about giving it a roll out and maybe a short run round the block every few weeks to get it all up to temperature and keep things free, and clean up the discs. Alternatively give the discs a good wipe with oil and keep an eye on them. Basically just keep everything clean, don't leave the handbrake on, and don't let it think it's staying there forever! Good opportunity to tinker with a few bits and bobs yourself if you feel like it. Cheers. Link to comment
