this car turns up at the address of another scooby owner in east kilbride and the thief dumps stuff from it and the cops just happen to chap the guys door and asks question i would be thinking his could have been a target too coincidence i don't think so it sounds to me like this mob have a shopping list and the second car had a lucky escape

Dude, If they came into my house in Louisiana I have the right by law to shoot them dead. As far as the law over here is concerned my home is my castle and i have the right to defend it.

I would have no hesitation what so ever to killing anyone stupid enough to try.

And to answer any of you lefties out there, I would rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6.

Bring it on.

sympathy to your loss.

Maybe I misunderstood, but I didn't read anything about someone breaking into a house.

But on your proposed method of dealing with intruders, I tip my hat to you. I keep a loaded Glock 22 in my bedside table.

Certainly in the UK there is a trend of thieves breaking into your house to get the keys, or fishing them through the letterbox with a pole and a magnet if you leave them on the hall table or hung up somewhere.

I keep mine behind a big fence guarded by armed police and angry marines

been behind that fence as well with my special pass, plenty of scoobies in that well guarded place
