scoobzie Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 i go out to start the car nothing so i then go on line and buy breakdown cover with greenflag done that phone them up to come out just for her to tell me because i broke down within the first 24 hours of the policy starting they will charge me 30 quid after paying to join online what a joke i just told them wee to shove it

C_WRX Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 Erm, is that not like never having car insurance and when involved in an accident/stolen you then get the policy to cover what's already happened, wouldn't be too many companies about if that was the norm - it's like any insurance where you hope it never happens but you have the cover just in case. Shame about the car not starting issue by the way, hope it is an easy fix. How about a local garage coming out to look at it ??

They obviously caught onto people just signing up as they got a problem and now charge and extra fee for it.. Quite right really.. But bit of a bugger if you genuinly did sign up and then sods law the car gets borked
