Any Electronics Wizards?

If so then how can I do this. I have a signal that switches between 0.8v and 5v but the thing I'm inputting to is expecting either 0 or 5. Could I get something that goes in-line that would rectify this?

I' sure that you can get some sort of Analogue to Digital converter.... which sounds like your problem...

What is it your trying to do?

I was asking for a mate. He phoned me back later to say it was working with those voltages unaltered. It's for part of the wiring up of an inductive proximity sensor.

Now why would you want to put 4 of them on a car.........
