do you have windscreen cover with your insurance?

If so - quick call to them and they will point you to the place who will replace it for the cost of your windscreen excess... normally £50 - £60 ..

yip 50 quid and does not effect your NCB,

will possibly add a bit to your next years premium but not as much as 350 - 500

they will replace the windscreen at your house too

Yip I just had to replace the windscreen on my shogun...would have been £700+ but through insurance was £70 excess...and still have ncd

I've had three windscreens in 2yrs on the scoob and two of them where replaced without having to pay the excess (replaced due to windscreen fitter error) so all three have set me back £55!

Insurance keeps going down year-on-year so I can't see it having affected renewal quotes either!

Best bets phone round small independants, autoglass are a rip off. they quoted me the same kind of price but managed to get one done for around £100
