sti_steve Posted June 27, 2009 Posted June 27, 2009 i take possesion of a bugeye sti on friday it has had 7 owners people dont keep these cars long most people just buy one to say they have owned one. Do they? I thought most people who have an impreza normally keep it at least 3 years and not just one summer
scoobzie Posted June 27, 2009 Posted June 27, 2009 Do they? I thought most people who have an impreza normally keep it at least 3 years and not just one summer i just sold my classic to a local guy who had it 1 week and sold it on all because he wanted to say he owned one maybe most folk on here do but not everyone
W88CHY Posted June 27, 2009 Posted June 27, 2009 I am the current owner of Scoobzie's new car. I have had it what, 9 month and put 3-4k on it, but this is the longest I have kept a car in recent years. I wanted to experiance a Impreza, I have, time to move on and grow up again (her words). So yes, I think a lot of Impreza's, Evo's etc are owned for the experiance.
gordi82 Posted June 27, 2009 Posted June 27, 2009 As Gav said 5 owners is a lot. The fewer owners a car like that has had the better more chance of it being better looked after and not thrashed all the time. Gordon @ john weirs

westtra Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 whats wrong with the key set up? could it just be a late registered model?
scoobyseller555 Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 (edited) na m8,looks like its had the ignition and key replaced with incorrect older items, the newer and correct key would look like the two you have. This is the same set-up as a classic with seperate immobiliser and key.
