rpsxr Posted June 24, 2009 Author Posted June 24, 2009 Where abouts are you located? Im not scottish either and live in Fife.. Dunfermline. I am Dutch. What roads were you on? This was near Crieff, but tbh, it's nice everywhere you go!! rgds Robert
oobster Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 Nice! You don't need to put the lights in the oven by the way, a combination of the Mrs hair dryer and some hot water should soften the sealant.
mystery machine Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 Glad you're enjoying the country! This was near Crieff, but tbh, it's nice everywhere you go!!I only wish that was true... but compared to the fancy stuff like Crieff, P&K, etc. some parts are a bit But you're right, we're lucky to have some very varied and attractive countryside Anyway, as the Allman Brothers once sang, "keep on keepin' on..."
rpsxr Posted June 25, 2009 Author Posted June 25, 2009 Glad you're..... ......once sang, "keep on keepin' on..." pls let me know where it is , so i try not to go there!! and eeeh... Allman Brothers??? huh? are you giving your age away there? or am i?
mystery machine Posted June 27, 2009 Posted June 27, 2009 and eeeh... Allman Brothers??? huh? are you giving your age away there? or am i? Well, I was around at the same time as the original Allman Brothers Band, but I admit that I wasn't quite mature enough to appreciate them back then (in the '70s ) "Sometimes I feel... like I've been TIED to the whippin' post" Love all that stuff! And of course EVERYBODY in the UK knows 'Jessica', A.K.A. 'the Top Gear theme tune'

mystery machine Posted June 28, 2009 Posted June 28, 2009 HUH?!?! Just some off-topic Allman Bros chat. Doesn't matter
Midnight21 Posted June 28, 2009 Posted June 28, 2009 And of course EVERYBODY in the UK knows 'Jessica', A.K.A. 'the Top Gear theme tune' Didn't know they played that, its weird hearing it played outwith the programme
mystery machine Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 Didn't know they played that, its weird hearing it played outwith the programme That's right - even now when I hear it I think of the old Top Gear and expect the tune to fade after the first few bars. I can almost visualise Jeremy Clarkson poised to rip into the latest Vectra... or Quentin Wilson smugly imparting his wisdom on how to pick up a Rolls Royce Silver Spur for the princely sum of £22.50 Much prefer the new TG, mind - even if they do use an 'orrible cover version of 'Jessica' for their theme tune. Bugger, that reminds me that my sodding DVD recorder is playing up again, having failed to record last night's episode
RS Grant Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 Car looks familiar, did you buy it from a guy called Craig?? I love taking a drive when the weather is nice, we've got the great roads, its just rare to get the good weather too. Cheers, Grant

Will probably wait for the repeat on Fri though - if I watch TG at the computer I'll only end up spraying my monitor with beer during the funny bits
