Cambridge Area For Gearbox Repairs

Hi all, it appears I might need to replace my gearbox bearings! Anyone what and where would be the best option?

1. Replace box.

2. Replace bearings.

3. Go mad and fit 6 speed box and diff.

Main thing is, I am in the Cambridge area so I am after optins that would be local for option 1 & 2.

Option 3 will be API.

There aren't really any specialists in the Cambridge area.

Or you could try TSR http://www.tsrdragracers.co.uk/ in Exning (near Newmarket) They stuff subaru engines in VW Beetles so should be well up for rebuilding a gearbox

Thanks for the reply, heading to API. They seem to think it is the rear bearing that can be done without removing the gearbox. Worth it if if is:)
