ryan_gwa Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 Ive just put a Cat back on my MY00 for next months MOT and I cant find the Temp Sensor. The De-Cat didnt have a plug-hole for it so it must have been removed or stashed somewhere underneath?? Can some one shed light on where it comes from? Cheers! Ryan.

I believe it's at the end of the down pipe, near the beginning of the main exhaust section.
ryan_gwa Posted January 13, 2009 Author Posted January 13, 2009 Yeah sorry, I know where it goes, need to find where abouts on the loom it comes from!

WUZ Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 (edited) AFAIK, only the JDM pre-97 car Classics had a EGT sensor (diplayed via the "Cat-on-fire" light on instrument Cluster) so I too am intrigued to know where this EGT sensor is on your MY00 Classic? Edited January 14, 2009 by WUZ
ryan_gwa Posted January 14, 2009 Author Posted January 14, 2009 Maybe it doesnt have one? The only reason I ask is because the new Cat I bought had a hole for it. Will just put a bolt in it if my MY00 doesnt have one!
