As the title says, going for JDM STI intercooler on my WRX.

Can get hold of STI undertrays, but they dont seem to have a rubber shroud and rubber seal like the WRX's have?

Is this normal for the STI's (ie. they dont have a shroud and seal) because of the larger intercooler?

Edited: Might have found a hood and under tray / shroud combo from a Blobeye STI, can anyone / someone take pics of their Blobeye scoop from above and below to see if its similar to a Hawkeye scoop, some say yes and some say no???

He will get you the larger rubber seal, just use the plastic fasteners from the old one to attach it to the zero sports undertray, Karl can supply both if your stuck.

Yeh, night have to end up doing that. Didnt really want to pay for a new undertay if it can be helped,

just get a STI one (complete one even better) but if he can do just the the larger rubber seal that might be an option.

I've got a MY05 Blobeye WRX and recently fitted the larger scoop and undertray that came off a Blobeye STI.

Think I might've read that you have to stick with the same model??? Don't know what the Hawkeye is like.

Is the JDM TMIC the same as say STI v9 etc?

I've got an STI TMIC so got the right MY version for the undertray so that the rubber seal was the same fit.

I think earlier STI's had smaller TMICs.

If you don't have the right fit of rubber seal, I don't think you'd be getting the best out of the TMIC???

Found an old messge from David at DR Motorsport. He said that the scoops were unique to each model, so that's

why I had to get the Blobeye STI for my WRX Blobeye.

Looks like im almost sorted out now, the Hawkeye WRX and STIs have same scoop so sticking with OEM top scoop and might be able to get a JDM undertray to match TMIC.
