scouk
better with the brows but do they let enough of your indicators be seen? god i sound old!!! They do .. just.. THe light can still easily be seen from the outside.. It just stops the light from pointing up now.. I remember using my indicators on teh orig headlights and I coudl light up roadsigns a nice orange colour for 1/2 a mile away! IMHO they are too bright to begin with. I'd keep them on.. TO be honest, I think what puts most peopel off them is that no one in the UK seems to do it.. so it doesn't look right.. But! It makes the car look more agressive, the lines follow a more "classic" look from a distance.. Also They are pretty damn popular in teh US Most cars over there either have eyelids or aftermarket headlights! Be a trend setter along with ScoobyDoom and keep them! I'm certain they will catch on.. And for a fraction of the cost of new headlights! Link to comment
rosshendry23
will maybe put them on 2mo. will c. Link to comment
scoobysailor
Keep the eyelids I've still not got round to painting mine yet. Link to comment
cullenmin
Keep them on. Splitter looks good. Get the smoked side repeater thingys instead o the orange & a nice set o fog light covers, that'll see the front end lookin much better Rich Link to comment
20kendo
Really like the splitter, vote yes on the eyebrows but must admit to being biased, got them fitted on my own car, indicators can be seen no problem. Link to comment
mystery machine
Splitter looks great, but the eyelids look a bit, erm... 'camp'. Link to comment
scooby doom
Having eyelids on mine I have to fall into the "keep 'em" camp, that said a close picture doesn't do them justice. Glad to see you got the splitter on okay too looks great. Link to comment
thefastone
Mmmm.... Splitter looks decent enough mate, although jury is out on the eyebrows... I dont know... perhaps if there was some better pics... from a few angles... but at the moment, I sway on the naw side.... Link to comment
colzo
Splitter looks great. IMO the best looking lights for the bugeye are the smoked STI ones. Link to comment
euan_r
i wonder what a detango would look like. agree with scooby222 wondering if there is enough indicator showing. could not be bothered with any problems that may ensue with police myself. Link to comment
thefastone
Deffo with Colzo there, best are the smoked lights... Link to comment
rosshendry23
will leave em off the now. not really sure bout them. would have to stick them to headlight with silicon or somethin. will see. cheers for feedback. delighted with the splitter. Link to comment
scooby doom
agree with scooby222 wondering if there is enough indicator showing. could not be bothered with any problems that may ensue with police myself.Certainly seems to be enough showing on mine but I did think of something else. As I got my clear marker replacements from the good old US of A they are actually indicators so could change the wires over from the side repeaters to the markers and they'd light up instead and would be more visible at the front. RS Grant
Splitter looks great. IMO the best looking lights for the bugeye are the smoked STI ones. Cheers, Grant Link to comment
jcscoob
Totaly agree with the STI headlights. i would never have thought it but i like it better with the eyelid things Link to comment
scouk
Totaly agree with the STI headlights. i would never have thought it but i like it better with the eyelid things Shame the STi Lights are like gold dust! Morettes tend to be cheaper Seems like a thumbs up for the eyelids so far! And I have to admit the more times I read this thread the more I like the look of them!!! The UK need more Bugeye Eye-Lids! Not seen it in the flesh yet, but ScoobyDoom's car really suits them! Link to comment
thewelsho
Eyelids look cool on standard Bugeye lights, so I'd keep them for sure. Link to comment
