2.5 Sti Block From Subaru/price?

Hi i'm wondering if anyone knows how much a complete bottom end block would cost from Subaru?

I heard someone can get them for 1600? Is this true?

Andy Forrest did have a limited number and did a group buy on Scoobynet I believe after they ran out. Was a bit cheaper than £1600 from memory.

IIRC API engines do the 2.5 with forged rods and pistons for £1800. Don't quote me though

Car not back yet Paul. Been waiting for a block for 4 weeks. Was giving up, thats why asking for other places to supply it. A block arrived this morning though after a few threats from me.

Want to be sure its an sti block so gonna start a thread to see if anyone knows by the numbers on it.
