HairyDJ Posted July 5, 2008 Posted July 5, 2008 If something was detected on your machine, it would be very helpful to say what virus it actually was, and what software specifically detected & cleaned it.

timmy2take Posted July 6, 2008 Posted July 6, 2008 Was it Outlook express that sent out all the emails?
Scooby Hoo? We think that it piggybacked in on "Skype". All the sites I gave located different holes it dug and hid in, but it migrates around in Microsoft Documents. Its so new that it hasn't been named. I only found out because BT security called me. They have only know about it for the last couple of weeks, so are monitoring from Colchester. "Regcure" located 661 problems and have cleaned up. It would appear that it can't cross over an Partitions. Hope this helps abit HairyDJ
